1. Soybean oil pretreatment and pressing process
Soybean is one of the most important oil seeds in the world. Before soybean pressing, soybeans need to be pre-treated, which mainly involves removing impurities in soybeans, adjusting the moisture and temperature of soybeans, and breaking soybeans into small particles to change the molecular structure of soybeans, etc. Pretreatment process is beneficial to subsequent soybean processing. Then the soybean oil after the pretreatment process is directly pressed to obtain crude soybean oil and soybean oil cake.

2. Soybean oil solvent extraction process
The oil content rate of soybean is around 17%, belonging to low oil content oil seeds. Generally, engineers recommend to adopt first puffing then directly solvent extraction process. The solvent extraction process is the best choice for large scale soybean oil extraction plant, because of its low residual oil rate and with higher quality of meal. But its investment is also higher than pressing process.
